About Hannah Betke Lawrence

Hannah found CrossFit while trying to find a quick workout during Physician Assistant school in 2016. What started as a quick break in the day soon turned into a lifelong passion. She’s been doing CrossFit ever since and proceeded to get her L-1 and start coaching in 2019. She believes that “CrossFit is a true preventative medicine; it not only helps you work on your physical health but also helps your mental health as you build mental endurance, overcome challenges and create community”.
Prior to CrossFit, Hannah began her fitness journey in college teaching group exercise classes and obtaining her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. That then led to doing personal training, specializing in weight loss, for over 15 years. After Physician Assistant school, Hannah worked in Urgent Care/Emergency medicine before taking a break from the medical field to be a mom to her two children.
Outside of fitness and spending time with her family, Hannah enjoys traveling, horseback riding (she was a competitive equestrian up through college and competed on the rodeo circuit in Michigan), and learning to garden.
